Vision

In India our Vision is to reach the unreached masses of more than 75 crores, by establishing native churches, especially those who are living in spiritual darkness, with a specific vision not only to reach the non-Christians, but also to bring each believer to spiritual maturity, so that they may also have a vision and commitment to reach out to their own people.

Establish local native churches with divine plan is to reach out our native for Christ with help of Holy Spirit. This vision was started in New Delhi during a pastor’s conference in which about 200 church leaders were gathered from different parts of India. A goal was set to plant, 100,000 churches by the year 2020 A.D., and strategies were planned to achieve the goal. Many churches had been planted. It looked as if the Lord was challenging our faith and asking us to broaden our vision. The vision continues to grow.

Church Planting

The Living Church is passionately working to evangelize Asia which includes planting new Christian churches all the way through the region. Missionaries are moving the Gospel of Jesus to the remote villages of India, and as a result of this, many people are coming to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. These new converts begin their walk with Jesus in Bible study groups and services which are held in the homes of other believers. As the congregation of the community grows, a more suitable place of worship becomes a pressing need. Although the Christian members sacrificially give to fulfill the needs of the church, in most cases they are unable to assemble a building. The average Christian church in Asia today is too young to carry the entire cost of the construction of a church building. This is where you and come together to help fill this need.

There are many ways that you can help living church in the ministry of Christian Church Planting. Support for this ministry usually comes from individuals, couples, churches, Christian organizations, and businesses. The three major ways to help in this ministry are prayer, financial support, and mission trips.

Christian Missionaries?

Christian missionaries have been part of the evangelical movement throughout the world for thousands of years as Christ followers heed the command of Jesus to go forth into the nations and share the good news of salvation. Christ himself traveled from city to city and village to village giving people of all socio-economic groups the opportunity to hear the message that God was sending through him - to repent and accept the free gift of salvation. And, in the way of Christ, believers have continued to reach out to countries who have not yet heard the message of Christ and to help establish Christian leadership and churches.

Today, as many countries have received the gospel message, there is still a need to continue in the tradition of sharing not only spiritual wisdom, but also material resources, as well. As servants of Christ seek to serve Him and love all of His children through mission trips, there has truly been a global impact for Christ. Churches have been built, children have been fed, homes have been repaired, and lives have been changed for the better.

Christian missionaries may go into an under-developed country and live among the people, dedicating their lives to building a foundation of the Faith. Short-term trips are often directed at providing aid or taking a gift, giving both the givers and the receivers the opportunity to learn more about each other and experience the Spirit of God in new and exciting ways. Not only are there physical results, but there are spiritual and emotional outcomes, as well.

When we are challenged to love and share with people who are from completely different cultures, we have our eyes opened to what God is doing in and through people who are different from us. Minds will be opened to see that God and his infinite ways are more vast, yet more understandable, evok ing an incredible spiritual enlightenment. All of this can be accomplished in a simple missionary journey, by taking a step out of comfort and into the exciting adventures of God.

Missionary Strategy?

A missionary is a person who, in response to God’s call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission Someone said that to meet this great challenge, every Christian must work 125 times more than what he is doing now. This is an impossibility. But the Lord has given us the mass media and modern technological advancements to help us to meet this great challenge. How can we ever reach the more than 70% of India who are illiterate? We can reach them with video, audio cassettes, Christian films, and personal evangelism through native missionaries.

The Lord raised up “ Jesus mission in cosmos ministry ”to fulfill the Great Commission during these last days through literature and missionaries.

You are welcome to become a prayer partner and support the ministry as the Lord leads you. We have different kind statistic for church growth . our church growth research departments are working with help of Holy Spirit of God with new implementation to establish number of churches in around world. We are ready to work with different Christian organization to reach out the nation for Christ.

Church Field in India!

God demands and I believe that everyone has the right to hear the life varying power of the Holy Spirit, the gospel, and the love of Christ. Therefore, our focus and outreach is to the needy, especially those living in slums and rural areas, make friends with, helping with their material needs and showing them the love of Jesus in Word and deed. We try to instruct ways they can be self-sufficient and help themselves. To achieve this God given vision, we at living church are directly involved in training believers, teaching befriending skills, and publishing the relevant materials in regional languages:

In September 15th, 1995, I initiated this ministry as a Bible study group with 3 families; it has now grown to 100 new believers consisting of different language groups. I am shepherding the parent Church in Delhi . which is in a rented building, but now due to the number of attendees and the size of the Church we are contacting two services each Sunday, 7 a.m and 9:30 a.m to accommodate everyone, even with these two packed services, people are standing on the steps and listening from outside. Every day the building is fully utilized to spread God’s word through Bible studies, children’s clubs, counseling, Pastors meetings, discussion groups, and all the other many aspects of ministry.

We firmly believe that plain teaching and practice of the Holy Bible in day to day life will bring a Biblical revival and solid belief in the Body of Christ in India. However, it is our great desire to translate and publish English books for Christian growth and Bible study materials especially from foreign authors, but to do this we need their permission and also financial support.

Living church has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational Church, but we don’t oppose denominations, we are concerned with their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ

No Western Missionaries?

A missionary is a person who, in response to God’s call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission Jesus mission in cosmos ministry does not send Western missionaries. Instead, we train and equip local natives Christians. They know the languages, the customs, and the dangers in their own areas. This method is efficient and effective. Local Christians are already in place, ready to begin work. They are trained to teach the Bible and form clusters of new disciples that reproduce and expand.

JMC focuses prayerfully on results that can be measured. We strive for the highest standards of accountability as we assemble our reports. We have the native master of church planting ministry Click ……………………………………… For more information, contact office

Attending Church?

Can a Christian survive apart from a church?

Some Christians have no choice. They are trapped in a hospital bed, or working in an isolated area where no church exists. And God is certainly sufficient to care for their needs. You can still get to heaven if you can't go to church. But even though it's technically possible to live the Christian life in isolation, it's certainly not the norm. When you become a Christian, you are called into a relationship with God (1 Corinthians 1:9 ) But1 John 1:3 makes it clear that we enter a fellowship that goes two ways: with God and with other Christians.

The New Testament never divides Christians into the church members and the non-church members. All the way through, it assumes that everybody participates in their local assembly. It gives no samples of Christians who belong to the "universal church" but have no link with a local church. Wherever Christians are within range of each other in the New Testament, they meet. Every time the apostle Paul comes to a town in the book of Acts where there are no Christians, he wins a few converts and immediately organizes them into a small group - a little church. Acts 20:7 reveals the practice of the early church: "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached to them." For Christians in every location, regular gathering was a part of life.

The church must be together to carry out many of its purposes. Here are some irreplaceable pieces of the Christian that cannot happen when you live in isolation from the church:

  • USE OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS - I Corinthians 12 makes it clear that God has given spiritual gifts to every Christian. And verse 7 states unmistakably that these abilities are not provided to make you feel good; they are abilities to minister that should be used for the common good! I Peter 4:10 commands us to use spiritual gifts to help each other.
  • MUTUAL MINISTRY - The church is pictured as a body in I Corinthians 12, and Paul explains that each part of the body exists to meet the needs of other body parts. In the same way, God intends each of us to meet the needs of other believers, using our strengths to help in their areas of weakness. I Corinthians 12:21 expresses it this way: "The eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you." Neither can a Christian claim to be self-sufficient today.
  • ACCOUNTABILITY - God designed the church as a place where spiritual leaders could watch out for our welfare, as a shepherd guards the sheep (I Peter 5:1-4; Hebrews 13:17). A Christian who answers only to himself can easily rationalize sinful attitudes or actions; regular contact with other Christians can keep us sharp.

Comforting Victimized Church (CVC)

Comforting the Victimized Church, is to encourage and minister to the Church around the world walking through the fires of persecution.

Why is COMFORTING VICTIMIZED CHURCH so necessary?

For every unreached people group in the world today, there are different obstacles and challenges to reaching them with the Gospel. Among these various challenges, there is one so great which even the most persevering missionary finds extremely difficult to overcome: the organized and systemic persecution of the church by the state and all levels of society.

Christians in such places suffer on a variety of practical levels. Many are falsely charged, imprisoned, and/or martyred. Many lose their jobs or cannot find employment due to persecution and/or religious blacklisting. Families of those charged or imprisoned or martyred often lose their sole family breadwinner, resulting in a Christian underclass of widows and orphans where children are no longer able to continue their education, thereby furthering the cycle of poverty. Moreover, individuals and families are often forced to flee their homes and their fields. If we can strengthen and encourage the victimized church, then tomorrow that church will be strong enough to reach out to its own nation, or at the very least the window of opportunity for reaching out will remain open a little longer. But if we turn our backs on assisting the victimized church in this critical hour, then tomorrow there may be no church--and therefore no local witness--in these lands. Christian Persecution:

How can you help?
You can help address the needs of those suffering from Christian persecution in three practical ways:

1. Awareness
The first step that individuals and churches should take is to develop awareness of the plight of the world-wide victimized church. Per your invitation, our COMFORTING VICTIMIZED CHURCH Department can send you any of the following resources, free of charge: Literature about Christian persecution a missions program or conference by a team of JESUS MISSION IN COSMOS MINISTRY staff missionaries highlighting the needs of the victimized church, using a mixture of multi-media presentation formats and our special "Victimized Church Service" presentation

2. Prayer Support
The second step, after gaining awareness, is to stand with the victimized church in prayer. When we can do nothing else for Christians undergoing persecution, particularly in the most closed and dangerous places, we can pray.

3. Financial Support
Victimized Christians around the globe face staggering financial needs. The Scriptures tell us time and again that it is our duty, as their brothers and sisters, to stand with our fellow believers who have needs-particularly when they result from Christian persecution.

A Recent Report

We have to report a shocking new outbreak of violence against Christians in the Indian state of Orissa, which has continued for several days.

A destroyed Christian Orphanage On Saturday 23 August2008.It is clear that damage to property is extensive. Scores of church buildings have been demolished, and hundreds of homes destroyed. Other Christian institutions, including schools, offices and prayer houses, have been vandalised, looted or burned. Buses and other vehicles have been torched. Many Christians have been attacked, especially in rural areas where mobs are attacking whole villages. Church leaders have been beaten up and women raped, and as many as 10,000 believers may have fled into the jungle for safety, without food or protection from the monsoon rains. Current reports of the death toll range from 12 to 36. Christian leaders have appealed to the national government for help, and thousands of Christian schools and colleges have been closed in protest.

Please help our brothers and sisters in need: Last Christmas Hindu extremists launched a large-scale and violent attack on the Christian community in Orissa. On that occasion too, many churches and homes were burned and several people killed. Many of those who fled at the time are still living in a refugee camp, and much of the necessary rebuilding is still to be done. Fund has been assisting Christians in Orissa since that time. A relief camp for refugees of the violence Donate today

Please join with us in prayer...

  • Pray that intervention by the authorities will be sufficient to quell the unrest, and that Christians in Orissa will be better protected in future. Pray that the police and government will administer security impartially, without regard to religion.
  • Pray for Christians who have lost their loved ones, houses or other property, for those who have suffered violence, and for those who are afraid to go home. Pray for the rebuilding of their lives, and that they may respond to their attackers with love and forgiveness.
  • Pray for the persecutors, that they may learn to live in peace with their Christian neighbors. Pray too that they may see the Spirit of Christ in believers and be moved to respond in faith.

Native Missions

Native church planters as a bridge connecting two critical pillars of the global body of Christ: (1) native missionaries laboring among unreached peoples, (2) supporting individuals and churches, mainly in the developed world. Each group needs the other! Without native missionaries, the Church cannot hope to fulfill the Great Commission, as 80% of world evangelization is being done by native missionaries. We categorize these broadly into three categories:

1. Learn and pray

We firmly believe that the body of Christ needs to be educated about the amazing things the Lord is doing through native missions. Prayer is the number one request that our brethren plead for.

2. Give

In Matthew 25, the Lord clearly charges us to help fellow believers who are hungry, naked, imprisoned, sick, and in need. Native missions-many of which minister in regions where the average income is $1 or $2 a day-are reaching the poorest of the poor for Christ. Advancing Native Missions offers several ways to give directly to our needy brethren overseas.

Sponsor a Native Missionary
Every day, hundreds of thousands of native (indigenous) missionaries around the world boldly proclaim the Gospel to millions of lost souls. However, many struggle to feed their families because there is no local church in their area to support them financially. When you sponsor a native missionary (suggested amount: $50 per month), your gifts will help cover his/her living costs--food, shelter, clothing, etc. Your gifts will also help pay for his/her ministry expenses--Bibles, literature, lanterns, bicycles, etc. In this way, you can help the cause of global missions by covering the cost of sending a worker into the harvest field, who can serve the Lord full-time among an unreached or unevangelized people group.

Sponsor a Missionary Trainee
In Third World countries, there are hundreds of thousands of young students in Bible schools eagerly preparing to enter the ministry. These young people represent the future global mission’s task force who will take the Gospel to the remaining unreached and unevangelized peoples. Many of these Bible students cannot afford to pay for their education, due to several factors. Those who come from Christian families often hail from poor backgrounds. Those who have converted from other faiths (Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam) cannot expect any kind of assistance from their own families. Moreover, securing a part-time job to help pay for school is not an option in most of the Third World, where even full-time job seekers often remain unemployed due to job scarcity When you sponsor a missionary trainee (Bible student) (suggested amount: $30 per month), your gifts will help cover his or her educational costs--tuition, books, lodging, food, and clothing. In this way, you will be making a strategic investment in global missions that may bear tremendous spiritual fruit in years to come.

Sponsor a Native Missionary Team
Native missionaries seldom work independently, lone-ranger style. Like their Western counterparts, native missionaries generally work under a mission organization, together with other missionaries. A native mission organization may have anywhere from five to five hundred workers. Often several workers are sent to serve in the same area, in order to better evangelize a particular region. When you sponsor a native missionary team (suggested range: $150 to $250 per month), your gifts will help cover the support costs of all the team workers--living expenses plus ministry expenses.

Association of Interdependent Churches

A ministry of Jesus Mission In cosmos:
The formation of the AIC was a very significant move in bringing together hundreds of churches in the villages of India. Evangelists, pastors, and Christian workers have planted thousands of small, independent, village churches within the past few years, but without AIC they and their churches have no support from other Christians. They are persecuted. They suffer silently. They are left without an opportunity to fellowship.

Empowering the pastors is the main emphasis of AIC. We have succeeded greatly in helping members understand the importance of coming together for information sharing and imparting skills to achieve the common goal of winning souls for Christ throughout India.

Church Building Help!

Financial help is another way in which you can share in the ministry of establishing churches overseas. The entire cost to construct a new church building in South Asia is roughly $9,000 USD. Yes, this is a lot of money, but it is nothing compared to what we spend in the US to build a new church. It is also nothing compared to the treasures you will store up in heaven

Support a Missionary

You can personally support a full-time missionary. When they get trained, sent out, and plant churches, you experience the joy of sponsorship.

"We just want to thank you for the picture and history of the young missionary we are supporting. I wept tears of gratitutde that our heavenly Father is allowing us the privilege of helping in His work." So writes a Californian who provides full support for a native missionary in India. Each individual or church which sends $50 or more monthly will be assigned a missionary for whom they can pray. Your missionary may never know the one who sends his or her support - only that his or her needs are being met in answer to prayer. Missionaries only know that the Lord supplies their needs.

Your Next Step

To begin experiencing the joy of sponsorship yourself, you may visit our Sponsorship page to complete our online form. Or send your first check to Jesus mission in cosmos to receive your assignment.

We will send you the name, photo and biographical sketch of the one assigned to you, as well as information about the indigenous ministry responsible. We will also send you updates on the one you sponsor as they become available (once or twice each year).

Your monthly gifts will be sent to the indigenous mission in charge of the one you sponsor. They will be combined with those of others to provide for the missionaries within their group.

Then, as you pray each day by name for the person whose picture you hold in your hands, you will have the deep satisfaction of knowing that your gifts help meet the needs of that fervent missionary in an area where you probably could never go as a foreign missionary.
